Funeral in Toronto for Fabio Sementilli

Fabio Sementilli, Coty Professional's Vice President of Education, passed away in his home in Los Angeles on Monday January 23rd, 2017. He was 49 years old. Sementilli joined Coty in 2007 after a lengthy career as an award-winning stylist and international platform artist. He was also a long-time supporter of Canadian Hairdresser. He will be well remembered for his contributions to the industry, his positive attitude and his infectious laugh.

Renowned Canadian hairstylist and icon of the beauty industry Fabio Sementilli passed away in a tragic way in Los Angeles, California, last Monday. The Sementilli family has announced the arrangements they have made to celebrate the life of their beloved Fabio.

For his family and friends near Los Angeles, California, a viewing service has been arranged for Sunday, January 29, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Gates, Kingsley & Gates Praiswater Mortuary, located at 6909 Canoga Avenue, Canoga Park, California, 91303 (map). For his family and friends in Canada, visitation will take place in the city of Toronto, on the evening of Thursday February 2, and all day Friday February 3, at Fratello Vescio Funeral Home, 8101 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Ontario, L4L 1A6 (map). Please call 905-850-3332 for visitation hours.
A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, February 4 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Church, located at 150 St. Francis Ave., Woodbridge, Ontario, L4H 2A2 (map). In you are unable to attend the services, Coty Professional Beauty will be celebrating Fabio’s life and legacy in the coming weeks. More information will be announced at a later date, in time to accommodate travel arrangements that might need to be made.

A college fund will be establish for Fabio’s daughters Gessica and Isabella at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked Fabio’s friends to make donations in his name to the following organizations in Canada and the United States:
