Create Springy Volume with a Dry Pin Curl Set

“Retro waves with an undone vibe are a great way to add movement and texture to a bob for spring,” says Ruth Roche, Global Artistic Ambassador for Pureology Serious Colour Care. Here’s a quick dry pin curl set using just fingers, pins and product.

Dry Pin Curl Set
  1. Blow dry hair with Pureology Colour Stylist Root Lift Root Spray Mousse to create volume at the base.
  2. Take sections of hair, spray with Pureology Strengthening Control Zero Dulling Hairspray and wrap hair around fingers until it spirals around and ends are tucked in. Pin like a stand up barrel curl. Using fingers keeps the texture more organic. Set the entire head.
  3. Heat hair with a diffuser until it’s set, let it cool, take out clips and run fingers through hair.

This look is so fresh and feminine for spring.  It’s easy to do and it looks so natural…like it just happened (wink, wink).  Look for other tips and tricks on www.ruthroche.com.
